Ryan Romeo is the CEO of Ryan Daniels UK LTD, which currently trades under the name Tranzfar, a Money transfer service currently focused on one-way transfers from the United Kingdom to Nigeria. Tranzfar aims to structure the prevalent unregulated Nigerian remittance market in the United Kingdom and globally, by offering its users a fast and seamless service on it’s technologically advanced mobile applications and website, with the additional reassurance and transparency of being financially regulated by the FCA.
Prior to starting Tranzfar, Ryan has spent the entirety of his professional career working for the Shell Trading and Shipping Company in London (STASCO), first as an Oil Claims Analyst before working as an Oil Contracts Analyst, and then a Crude Oil Freight Operator. Having joined in 2014, he has been able to consistently exude the high level of commerciality required to progress in an intensive commercial and trading environment.
Born in the UK to Nigerian parents, Ryan holds a BA Economics degree from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Technology and Entrepreneurship from University College London (UCL). It was whilst at the latter institution he was able to hone his understanding of the intricacies of setting up a technology-driven business. His other interests include African development, world governance, and a potpourri of sporting activities.
