In its determination and commitment to young Nigerian Entrepreneurs based in the United Kingdom, the Nigerian-British Business Forum held a major inaugural business workshop titled the Mind of the Entrepreneur on Friday 17th of March 2017 at the world renowned and prestigious Imperial College. The focus of the workshop was to give the delegates in attendance an insight into what is expected to operate within the mind of an entrepreneur. The lineup of speakers was equally impressive with internationally acclaimed Nigerian-born speakers, speaking straight from the heart through the session.
The event was kicked off with Mr Afolabi Andu, Founder and President of the Nigerian-British Business Forum giving a highly inspiring opening remarks, this was followed by Dr Sola Fola-Alade an internationally acclaimed speaker who spoke on leading by example, whilst Mrs Morenike Ajayi CEO, Career Nuggets increased the tempo with her identifying potential speech this was enhanced on by Mrs Henrietta Abrahams, CEO of Reach Consult who touched on a very vital topic, ‘making a commitment’. The evening’s presentation was rounded up by Mr Fela Durotoye, CEO “the Fela Durotoye Company” who spoke quite powerfully on ‘You have what it takes’. The questions and answers session presented an opportunity for the young entrepreneurs to ask vital questions on grey areas and points of concern. All questions were robustly dealt with by the panel of speakers.
The compere of the event, Mr Ademola Adesina, Chairperson of NBBF Youth Entrepreneur Committee added colour to the event with his light humour and professionalism
The event showed a clear need for a platform with the committed desire to support the upcoming generation of entrepreneurs.
